Assistant Program Manager, CEDARS Foster Care

The Assistant Program Manager (APM) will provide effective and dynamic leadership that supports teamwork within CEDARS Foster Care Program, across other programs at CEDARS and amongst partner agencies. The APM will ensure the quality of trauma-informed, strength-based services provided to youth in care. A large amount of time will be dedicated to coordinating probation cases which will include travel within the Southeast Service Area and Northern Service Area. The APM will also carry a caseload of probation cases and be the coverage worker for Family Resource Partners when needed. The APM may also supervise Family Resource Partners and will ensure COA standards are being met and followed throughout the program. Supervisory experience, knowledge of family-centered services, probation and casemanagement skills are strongly desired. The individual must possess initiative, skills in written and verbal communications, public speaking, case management and program development. Probation and Juvenile Justice experience is preferred. The individual shall have the ability to work with other professionals in the community to coordinate services and maintain program standards. Bachelor's degree in human services or closely related field and two years of related experience are required, as well as a valid driver's license with a good driving record . Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; will include some evenings and weekends and required participation in on-call schedule.
