Assistant Program Manager, CEDARS Foster Care

The Assistant Program Manager (APM) will provide effective and dynamic leadership that supports teamwork within CEDARS Foster Care Program, across other programs at CEDARS and amongst partner agencies. The APM will ensure the quality of trauma-informed, strength-based services provided to youth in care. A large amount of time will be dedicated to overseeing the licensure and approval of foster parents which will include travel within the Southeast Service Area and Northern Service Area. The APM will also supervise a team of Family Resource Partners and ensure COA standards are being met and followed throughout the program. The individual must possess initiative, skills in written and verbal communications, public speaking, case management and program development. The individual shall have the ability to work with other professionals in the community to coordinate services and maintain program standards. Supervisory experience, knowledge of family-centered services and case management skills are strongly desired. Bachelor's degree in human services or closely related field, experience working with families in crisis and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; will include some evenings and weekends and required participation in on-call schedule.
