Teaching, Learning & Connecting (TLC) is a 24hr residential group home for adolescent girls. The YSIII will assist the youth in self-sufficiency and responsibility through independent living skills instruction, individualized service planning and by utilizing a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. Duties include the ability to act as a positive role model, provide crisis and behavioral management, prepare meals, maintain a safe and clean living environment, document and administer medication, transport clients to/from school, home visits and various appointments. This position will serve as a lead staff to oversee incidents, documentation, communication with supervisor and day to day operations. Duties will also include special assignments/projects and some case management of youth. Bachelor's degree in human services or closely related field is required. At least one year of experience working with youth and families is preferred. The YSIII must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Schedule: Tuesday 2:30p-9:30p, Wednesday 2:30p-10:30p, Thursday 9a-11a (mandatory staff meeting), Thursday 2:30p-10:30p, Friday 2:30p-10:30p and Saturday 2:30p-9:30p.
