The YSIII is responsible for maintaining safety of youth between the ages of 10-18 on the evening shift. The YSIII is a leadership position and will be responsible for providing leadership to ensure each shift runs smoothly, leads during times of crisis and will take on additional leadership tasks as necessary. This position may include transportation to and from school, appointments, activities or visits. The YSIII is responsible for daily documentation of behavior of youth in care, engaging youth in life skills or educational activities, providing leadership during crisis intervention, providing structure for youth, assisting in school work and engaging youth in positive activities, along with other duties as assigned. The YSIII will be responsible for scheduling and transporting to necessary medical appointments for youth in care, as well as managing youth's medications. Bachelor's degree in human services or closely related field is required and at least two years of experience working with youth and families is preferred. Leadership experience is preferred for the YSIII position. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
