The Family Resource Partner will be responsible for licensing and retention of foster parents, including but not limited to home visits, relationship building, training and licensing. This position will be responsible for supporting and encouraging foster parents in their development of relationships with the biological families. One year of experience in writing home studies is required as well as knowledge of foster care licensing standards and Department of Health and Human Services regulations. This position must be able to process license renewals as directed by DHHS to maintain license compliance. Strong organizational and time management skills are also recommended. Strong knowledge of foster care licensing standards, trauma, attachment disorders, developmental disabilities and mental health issues is preferred. Will assist in the placement of youth placed in foster, emergency or respite care and be responsible for ensuring compliance with state foster care rules and regulations. Bachelor's degree in social work, human services or closely related field and a minimum of two years work related experience are required. Must possess a genuine interest in youth and families and be sensitive to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the clients and families CEDARS serves. Excellent computer skills and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required. Schedule Monday-Friday 8a-5p; may include evening and weekend hours and will be required to participate in on-call schedule.
