Cleaning Specialist, CEDARS Support Services (Lincoln, NE)

CEDARS Support Services provides varied support functions to assist programs in fulfilling CEDARS mission. The purpose of the Support Services team is "ready to help, willing to serve". CEDARS is seeking a self-motivated, positive person with strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and a strong desire to maintain a clean environment at the CEDARS Pioneers facility. CEDARS Pioneers facility offers emergency shelter, foster care, juvenile justice services and visitation space for family visits. Responsibilities include: surface and deep cleaning of common spaces within the Pioneers facility such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, etc. Must be detail-oriented, self-directed and flexible; possess excellent communication skills along with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Must possess the ability to work under the direction of several staff and have concrete problem-solving skills. Must be able to identify what needs to be cleaned and the most efficient way to clean. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of office cleaning experience. Schedule: 40hrs week; Monday through Friday 8a-5p or 7a-4p.
