Tracker/Electronic Monitor, CEDARS Tracker/Electronic Monitor Program (Bellevue, NE)

CEDARS Tracker/Electronic Monitor Program provides community-based programming, which addresses issues of delinquency while remaining in the community. CEDARS Tracker/Electronic Monitor Program is an intensive one-on-one service providing supervision and support to juvenile offenders through the development of a mentoring relationship with a positive role model. In addition, Tracker/EM staff may be responsible for supervising and managing youth who are court ordered to be supervised by an electronic monitoring device. It is the general responsibility of the Tracker/EM to carry out specific service plans as developed by the authorizing agency and to assist with monitoring the achievement of goals for youth through services provided in the home. The purpose of Tracker/EM services is to prevent out-of-home placements and also serves to prevent adolescents from further involvement in the juvenile justice system. The Tracker/EM will office out of CEDARS Bellevue, NE location and will serve youth and families in Sarpy, Cass and Otoe Counties. A Bachelor's degree in human services or a closely related field from an accredited college and at least two years of experience working with at-risk youth are required. Applicant must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Schedule: Monday through Friday 9a-5p with some evenings and weekends expected. Also, possibility of participation in on-call rotation.
