CEDARS Northbridge Early Childhood Development Center is a nationally accredited childcare center serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The Child Specialist II (CS II) position is the lead teacher in a classroom with primary responsibilities including: development and implementation of lesson plans, facilitation of curriculum activities and classroom oversight. The CS II will be responsible for supervising and maintaining a safe, creative, fun and nurturing environment and must have the ability to communicate effectively with peers, parents and supervisors. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development, Special Education or a related degree with a minimum of 6 Early Childhood courses is preferred. A combination of relevant experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement if approved by the President and CEO. Previous experience working with young children is desired. This position requires a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm in the pre-school classroom.
