Case Manager, CEDARS Pioneers Center (Lincoln, NE)

CEDARS Pioneers Center provides a safe and stable environment for youth to reside following a placement disruption or for youth experiencing homelessness or who have ran away. The Program operates 24/7 for youth ages 12-18. Programming includes structured groups and recreation, school support including keeping the youth attending their home school when possible and helping strengthen relationships between youth and their families. CEDARS Pioneers Center is designed to be a short term placement for youth with a goal average length of stay 3 weeks or less. The Case Manager is a grant-funded position in the CEDARS Pioneers Center. The Case Manager is responsible for completing intakes and service plans on youth in care. This position will be working directly with the youth in care to develop their service plans while in care. This position will also work closely with the Assistant Program Directors in directing and coordinating services. The Case Manager will collaborate with the Assistant Program Directors as well as the Program Director when developing individualized case plans that include education and advocacy. The Case Manager will be asked to respond to crisis interventions with youth, when needed. The Case Manager may be assigned additional tasks at the request of the Program Director. A bachelor's degree in human services or closely related field and at least one year of experience working with youth are preferred. A combination of education and work experience relevant to the field will be considered. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Schedule: Tuesday through Friday 10a to 6p and Saturday 8a to 4p. This schedule may vary hours on each day assigned.
