(2) Family Resource Partner, CEDARS Foster Care Program (Lincoln, NE)

The CEDARS Foster Care Program is designed to serve children birth to 18 years of age whose needs can be met in a structured, nurturing, specialized foster home environment. Foster families who are trained, supported and supervised by CEDARS professional staff provide the program services. Family Resource Partners are assigned to support youth placed in foster care. The Family Resource Partner (FRP) will provide support and training to foster parents and serve as a liaison to schools, DHHS, court and other agencies. The FRP's main responsibility is to ensure that the foster youth is successful while placed in a foster home. The FRP is responsible for conducting home visits, service planning and services to meet the needs of youth who are in CEDARS foster homes. A Bachelor's degree in social work, human services or closely related field and a minimum of two years work related experience is required. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is also required. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8a-5p; some weekends and evenings, as well as participation in the on-call rotation.
